WOERMANN, BROCK SUPERMARKETS, a leading Namibian Retail Group, has a Help Desk Adviser position available in Windhoek. Suitably qualified persons with the ambition to build a rewarding career in a well-established business and who meet the requirements set out below are invited to apply for this vacancy.



In pursuance of excellent customer service the Help Desk Adviser will assist customers with enquiries, advice, direction and complaints and will ensure that customers receive friendly and efficient service and assistance at all times to ensure customer satisfaction.  The incumbent will perform certain duties in regard to the Woermann, Brock Loyalty Programme.



·         Communicate promotional and buying activities to branches

·         Do promotions at stores, such as promoting SmartBuy, Birthday Promo, Other promos

·         Liaise with suppliers to increase promotional activities at the stores.

·         Visit stores to ensure that all promotional activities are properly executed

·         Assist customers by responding to product and membership service questions

·         Deal with customer feedback and general enquiries on products and services

·         Give customers service information including product and membership details

·         Identify, investigate and deal with customer issues as per policy

·         In regard to the Loyalty Programme perform specialized transactions like outdoor school sign-ups, special orders, store mail-outs and special ticket sales

·         Inform customers of repair options in case of damage to goods bought, and arrange repairs as per policy



-                 Grade 12

-                 A tertiary qualification in Public Relations or Degree in Marketing,

-                 Appropriate experience in retail or similar working environment of at least 3 years

-                 Must have own vehicle

-                 Passionate, results driven self-starter with a strong focus on customer service excellence

-                  Enthusiastic team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

-                  Assertive, decisive, problem solver

-                  Ethical with a healthy self-concept

-                  Balanced task and people orientation

-                  Analytical, willing and able to take initiative

-                  Excellent planning, organising and time management skills

-                 Must be willing to work impromptu, depending on business needs
